Neopost USA Employees Donate Cash and Canned Food to the North Texas Food Bank

The Customer Interaction Center* of Neopost USA, a provider of business communications management and shipping solutions, donated more than 187 pounds of food and $500 in cash to the North Texas Food Bank in the days before the Thanksgiving holiday.

The donation was the result of the company’s food drive which began November 1. The combined effort of food and donations is expected to feed more than 1,000 people.

“We are so pleased to help our community and come together as a company to assist people – our neighbors – in need,” said Rodney Tovaas, Senior Director of Neopost USA’s Customer Interaction Center. “The food drive was conceived and managed by our employees. The generous result clearly demonstrates their kindhearted nature and gives a new emphasis to the ‘giving’ part of Thanksgiving.”

The North Texas Food Bank, a nonprofit hunger-relief organization founded in 1982, distributes donated, purchased and prepared foods through a network of more than 250 partner agencies in 13 Texas counties.
