Neopost USA’s Northeast District Raises $1,500 for “Shop with a Cop”

Neopost USA’s Neopost Northeast district has raised $1,500 for The REACH Foundation’s 2014 “Shop with A Cop” program. The Foundation partners local underprivileged children with Connecticut law enforcement officers for a holiday shopping trip.

“The Neopost Northeast team responded immediately and overwhelmingly to the offer to help local kids as well as local law enforcement,” says Vice President and General Manager Gerard Grossano. “Everyone wanted to bring a holiday smile to the kids’ faces.”

The Shop With a Cop program pairs uniformed officers with underprivileged children for holiday-themed socializing, shopping and gentle leadership during the holiday season. The children will shop for their family, as well as a children’s organization from the community where the police officer serves. The participating children are identified by schools, youth organizations and social services agencies.

The events were scheduled December 9 at the Target store in Southington, CT, and December 10 at the Target store in Milford, CT.

The REACH Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded in 2000, is located in Farmington, CT.
